The Andersons has donated more than $25,000 in products for the 2018 Golf Industry Show Silent Auction, which benefits the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic organization of the GCSAA.
With this donation, The Andersons moves up to the Governor’s Club level of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Program, for donors that have contributed between $50,000 and $99,999 since 1987. In addition, they are Silver Partners in GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Program.
“The Andersons has, time and time again, been a great friend to GCSAA and the EIFG,” says GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “This donation to the Silent Auction helps fund the important work of the EIFG, which includes funding research grants and scholarships that foster sustainability in the golf industry.”
The donation from The Andersons, a diversified company rooted in agriculture, includes pallets of their Contec DG, Foltec SG and HCU turf nutrient products.
“Just as we offer the highest-quality specialty nutrients using next-generation technologies to golf course superintendents, we know that giving to the EIFG means we are supporting quality programs that help superintendents make a difference at their facilities and in their communities,” says Bob Eichenberg, director of sales at The Andersons.
