- Omni La Costa Resort & Spa announced that following the rave reviews received from hosting the NCAA Division I Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships in May, the legendary Southern California destination has been awarded a two-year extension to its already existing contract with the NCAA. - The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance (TWCA) announced their newest seed producer member, The ScottsMiracle-Gro Company. The newest of five fully independent producer members, ScottsMiracle-Gro brings a unique, retail-oriented perspective to TWCA board.
- Bear Irrigation, LLC, announced the acquisition the Golf Products line from Weathermatic, a Dallas based irrigation equipment manufacturer. Bear Irrigation, LLC is the all-new version of the original Bear Irrigation, established in 1996 by Glen Grizzle, designer and builder of the legacy line of Bear Golf Irrigation products.
- The FairWays Foundation, established by Aquatrols in 2019, has successfully completed its 2024 grant cycle, distributing $119,040 to 11 environmental projects around the globe. With Aquatrols’ ongoing support, the foundation has now donated a remarkable $1,122,819 in total, empowering 59 conservation initiatives across the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, and Africa since inception.

- Envu announced the acquisition of In2Care, a technology company headquartered in the Netherlands specializing in the development and commercialization of novel mosquito control products. The acquisition will allow Envu to offer pest control operators, lawn care companies, mosquito abatement professionals and other customers even more nature-positive innovations for nuisance mosquito control and preventing the spread of vector-borne diseases.

- FMC Corporation received registration approval from the state of California, enabling the official commercial launch of Durentis insecticide, a proprietary technology providing season-long protection from above and below ground chewing pests, including all species of grubs and fall armyworms.

- Audubon International announced the addition of two golf industry executives to its Board of Directors: Rick Lohman, Senior Director of Corporate Accounts for The Toro Company, and Ruth Engle, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Troon Golf.
Tuesday, October 8
- Envu Turf & Ornamentals announced the addition of Karlee Kitchel and Lindsey Hoffman Chappell, Ph.D., to its team. Kitchel brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at Corteva Agriscience, where she excelled as a supply chain planner and crop protection territory manager. Hoffman Chappell, who has been with Envu for the past three years, has been promoted to this new role, bringing her extensive background in sales and scientific research to the position.
- Syngenta released a new multimedia feature for golf course industry professionals, Golf and the New Wellbeing Economy. The feature highlights golf’s increasing popularity, and the industry's opportunity to demonstrate to government and local communities the important role clubs and courses have to play in environmental sustainability.
