- Albaugh announced the promotion of Joe Mares to Vice President – Marketing, North America Region. In this role, Mares will lead marketing strategy and execution across the region, overseeing new product development, field research initiatives, regulatory strategy, and market positioning to support Albaugh’s continued growth in North America.
Thursday, October 16
- Audubon International announced grant funding is still available to join the organization's popular Monarchs in the Rough program, which works with golf courses across the country to create out-of-play acres of milkweed habitat where the butterfly species lay their eggs. - Landscapes Golf Management announced that they have been selected to operate the emi-private Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla., 40 minutes northwest of Orlando. Landscapes Golf Management will turnkey golf business strategy and planning, course maintenance, clubhouse operations, marketing, IT, staffing and training, food and beverage, merchandising, golf instruction and financial management.
Monday, October 13
- The Boulders Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz. announced the completion of a multi-focused refinement project to further enhance the playability of its iconic North Course which reopened for play on Monday, October 13. During the five-month project, crews restored green surfaces to their original shape and size, and resurfaced them with TifEagle turf, mirroring the green surfaces on the Boulders’ South Course.
Friday, October 10
- FMC and Atticus announced a settlement in their dispute over Chlorantraniliprole ('CTPR'), resulting in Atticus's withdrawal of its declaratory judgment action against FMC. With the settlement, Atticus plans to enter the CTPR market beginning December 7, 2025.
Wednesday, October 8
- Syngenta Golf announced the release of a new episode of its ongoing sustainability docuseries, The Green Report. In the new three-part episode, The Green Report visits Paradise Valley Country Club and Troon North Golf Club to learn how superintendents, naturalists, course owners and advocates are working together to communicate the sustainability impacts of golf.
