Envu, an environmental science company providing forward-thinking innovations that protect and enhance the health of environments around the world, has donated $10,000 to the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Foundation to support the Disaster Relief Fund.
“When the widespread damage across the Southeast from Hurricanes Helene and Milton happened, Envu quickly stepped up to offer their assistance to GCSAA members,” GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans said. “We thank them for their generosity and know it will make a difference in the lives of those impacted.”
Envu is a member of the GCSAA Foundation Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes organizations that donate $5,000 or more annually. Envu is also recognized at the Governors Club level in the Foundation’s Cumulative Giving Program for donors that have contributed between $50,000 and $99,999 since 1987.
Envu is also a Gold Partner in GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Program. Among its support for GCSAA members is the Envu Superintendent Grant Program, which assists golf course superintendents with their professional development through participation in the annual GCSAA Conference and Trade Show.
“As a North Carolina-based company, Envu is supporting our colleagues and neighbors impacted by the recent hurricanes,” said Mark Schneid, head of North America at Envu. “Rolling up our sleeves to help our customers and the communities they live in is core of who we are. Our mission is to improve the lives of everyone everywhere. We hope others in the industry will join our efforts.”
GCSAA established the Disaster Relief Fund in 2006, in reaction to Hurricane Katrina, to assist GCSAA members who suffered personal loss. The fund continues to be a resource for members who face tragedy caused by natural disasters. Learn more at www.gcsaa.org/about-gcsaa/gcsaa-disaster-relief-fund.
