Hosted by Scott Hollister, editor-in-chief of GCSAA’s Golf Course Management magazine, the podcast will feature association and industry information, including educational content, updates on GCSAA programs and services, reports from industry events, human-interest stories, and interviews with some of the biggest names in golf course management.

The first episode, debuting today, features GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. The next installment, available Oct. 2, will include coverage of the GCSAA members chosen to be volunteers at the 2019 Ryder Cup in Paris.

“We are very excited to have another way to communicate with our 18,000 members,” says Evans. “However, the GCSAA Podcast also gives us the opportunity to share all the good things happening in the golf course management industry with a wider audience.”

Upcoming episodes will feature industry legend Matt Shaffer, an update on GCSAA’s new First Green program, an interview with superintendent Lawrence Powell and former LPGA player Renee Powell who are the winners of GCSAA’s 2019 Old Tom Morris Award, and a preview of the 2019 Golf Industry Show in San Diego.
